A Politician from Chikun Local Government of Kaduna state,
Honourable Adalo Maikai, has saluted Nigerians for yet
another season of Christmas celebration.

Accordin to Maikai, Joy has come to the world as Nigerians
celebrate the birth of a king. “I want to use this medium to say Merry Christmas to my fellow citizens, and compliment of the season. On this auspicious occasion I call on my fellow
citizens to use this season as one for sober reflection and prayers for our states and nation at
large.
“As a citizen of Kaduna, I am deeply concerned with the crisis that has rocked Southern Kaduna and some parts of
Chikun Local Government Area which has also come under
severe attack by men of the underworld, it is indeed very
unfortunate and disheartening. It is my earnest prayer that we will live in total peace and security, I will use this medium to call on all stakeholders to give peace a chance, not forgetting that an eye for an eye will only make the whole world blind, we should shield our swords and explore
every available means to ensure that peace is restored,” he said.
Maikai said as Nigerians patiently and prayerfully wait
for the New Year 2017, “It is my prayers that we will come out from the woods and regain our prosperity as a nation and remain United. We pray that 2017 will be far better than the year 2016. We should remain hopeful, steadfast and resilient for greater things are installed
for us as a people.”
