Maiduguri APC Wards Chairmen, Secretaries Forum Denies Allegations On Resignation



The  Forum Chairman of 15  All Progressives Congress (APC) Wards  Chairmen and Secretaries  Forum, Maiduguri Metropolitan Council (MMC), Borno State, Alhaji  Kaomi  Musa  and Secretary of the Forum,  Mohammed Baba  have jointly distanced themselves from the allegations levelled against them by self identified  members of the forum, that both the chairman and secretary the Forum are planning to resign from the party.

Briefing journalists on  Monday at the APC State Secretariat Maiduguri, both the Chairman and Secretary of the APC  15 Wards Chairmen and Secretaries said the rumours making the round on social media  was mere speculation and unfounded allegations by mischief makers who are out to smear the image of the party and destroy the competence, trust, credibility, popularity and commitment of the forum’s leaders.

The chairman and secretary further denied  ever complaining about anything or the party or  having any grievances with anybody as speculated, while calling on all the party supporters and members to continue to support its candidates at all levels and cooperate with the leadership of the party in the state as 2023 general election is fast approaching.

The forum’s leaders who spoke in Hausa and Kanuri languages to the journalists, added that their members meeting with the State Council Executives of the APC was purely on forthcoming  party campaign strategies and  general election.
