LPG Storage Explosion Rocks Kano, No Lives Lost

A liquified gas storage explosion  on Tuesday May 17, 2022, rocked Sabon Gari area of Kano city, but no live was lost during the incident which left some few persons with some injuries.
Our correspondent who rushed to the scene reports that the LPG storage discharged accidentally, with some residents thinking it  was a bomb blast.
 Security agencies including the anti-bomb squad cordoned off the area and discovered  that it was a gas explosion that rocked its storage.
 Some residents  who had chats with New Nigerian stated that, ” we heard the explosion and we started running away expecting it to be a bomb blast, but at the end we realised that it was a gas explosion from a house where LPG was stored” said Mr. Emmanuel Ikechukwu.
As as the time of filing this report, the security expert in explosives were however, still investigating the cause of the explosion, and normal activities have since commenced in Sabon Gari axis.
