The Kano State Electoral Commission (KANSIEC) has completed all the necessary arrangements for the conduct of  Saturday’s councils election, while the security operatives  are ready to deploy 12,000 officers to polling units across the state for  free and fair polls.
Our correspondent who monitored the activities of both the KANSIEC and the  candidates reports that  all the flag bearers are also set to face the election  despite what  the opposition are  describing  about the mode of election which is scheduled to hold on Saturday 10th February.
Similarly, the Kwankwasiyya side has directed all its followers to remain at home because according to a close source to the former governor and serving Senator, Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the election would not be on their favour,  and  their people are not contesting  which may be due to the ongoing feud between Kwankwaso and Governor Ganduje.
Most of the people that had a chat with New Nigerian said that APC is set to win the whole 44 local government councils and the councilors because Governor Ganduje is working seriously for the development of Kano State  without bias.
Alhaji Abdulhamid Idris Rimi, former chairman of Sumaila Local Governmet Council and senior advisor  Kano State Ministry for Local Government, said that APC would sweep all the elections because  what Governor Ganduje is doing is a clear indication that  All Progressives Congress will win.
He called on the people of the state to vote APC  for a unified leadership.
