Let’s Engage Nigerian Youths Positively – Prof Solarin

A Professor of  Mathematics and Statistic, Professor Adewale Enigbokan Solarin has called on Nigerians to start engaging youths in the country positively.
The University Don who said this at a youth development program in memory of his late parents Mr and Mrs  Adesanya Enigbokan Solarin declared that the time has come for Nigerians to give adequate attention to the
the spirit of nation building through the development of young people,
He maintained that engaging the youths positively will go a long way towards eradicating crime and hooliganism in and across the country, saying, it is when the youths are not idle that they will desist from all forms of evil vices and concentrate more on their brilliant future.
According to Professor Solarin  the responsibility of youth development should no longer be left for government or parents alone but every Nigerians because “the future of every youth is a success for the country”
In doing this, Professor Solarin asked wealthy Nigerians to rise up and support young people across Nigeria saying,
rather than merry making, there is the urgent need to positively engaged the youths in our society especially in talent discoveries to become better citizens of the country.
The University Don  Professor Solarin said a situation whereby many graduate remains unemployed in the country may continue to cause havoc on the larger society and calls for urgent attention by all and sundry.
Stressing that the current economic challenges facing Nigeria requires the youths to  stand up for themselves through their skill and talents to give them a brighter future, even for their unborn children, he tasked them to on their own embrace entrepreneurship and develop their God given talents, rather than waiting for white collar jobs which may not come in the nearest future.
