*Demise, loss of a true prophet of God – Senator Sharafadeen Alli

Governor Seyi Makinde on Thursday, described the death of the founder of the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Oke-Agbara, Asi Bodija, Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere, popularly called Baba Olowere, as a huge loss to Christendom and the entire Oyo State.
Also, the Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Sen. Sharafadeen Alli described the death of Prophet Olowere as a loss of a true prophet of God.
The governor, in a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sulaimon Olanrewaju extended condolences to the leadership of CAC Worldwide, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Oyo State branch and the immediate family of Baba Olowere.
The governor stressed that Baba Olowere was a worthy father of faith and one of God’s Generals, who have given their all to ensure the continued prosperity of Oyo State through their prayers and other contributions, saying, “Baba would be highly missed by his followers, admirers and the Christian faithful in the state”.
“I received the news of the death of Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere, with shock.Baba lived his life serving God and humanity. He was a God’s General who sought the good of Oyo State and Nigeria and contributed his quota to making it happen”, he said.
Gov Makinde added, ” We have lost a worthy father of faith in Oyo State. I condole with the CAC Worldwide, the Oyo State CAN, the members of CAC Oke-Agbara, Asi Bodija and the entire people of the state. I pray that God will grant him eternal rest and give all of us the fortitude to bear this loss.”
Senator Sharafadeen Alli in the condolence message he personally signed described the death of Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere, as a loss of a true prophet of God, saying, the oldest prophet in the CAC family was a deep preacher, teacher and gospel evangelist who was greatly loved by all.
According to him, Baba Olowere was a resolute and dogged believer in God. Godly, humble, disciplined, contented and respected by all and was a worthy father, evangelist and popular prayer warrior, who never discriminated against anyone irrespective of religious or ethnic affiliations.
“His death is a huge loss to the people of Oyo State, particularly the Christian community. He has indeed left behind a shoe too big for others to wear. His legacies of philanthropy, orderly behaviour, respect for fellow human beings, culture of tolerance, contentment, discipline and ability to live above board will surely outlive him. I have no doubt that his affectionate love for mankind, dedication to God and quintessential lifestyle will grant him eternal rest, ” he said.
Senator Alli while expressing his condolences to the late Prophet Olowere family, the CAC Worldwide and Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) prayed that Almighty God grant his soul eternal rest and give his families fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
