Late Patience Umo Eno Was An Epitome Of Excellence – Akwa Utd Chairman

The Chairman of Akwa United Football Club of Uyo, Elder Paul Bassey has described late Mrs Patience Umo Eno as a true epitome of excellence, humility and uncompromising christian who fearlessly stood for truth and probity at all times.

This was contained in a condolence letter to Governor Umo Eno on Friday signed by the Media Manager of the Akwa Utd, Mr. Mfon Patrick on behalf of the chairman, management, players and staff.

According to Mr Patrick, the the news of the death of Governor Eno’s wife, Her Excellency Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno, on Thursday 26 September, 2024 after a brief illness came to them with great shock and sadness.

He stated that the club’s chairman, Elder Paul Bassey in his reaction, described late Pastor Mrs Patience Umo Eno as a true epitome of excellence, humility and uncompromising christian who fearlessly stood for truth and probity at all times.

“Your Excellency, we quite understand the fact that the loss of your beloved wife has brought you and your family inconsolable pains and difficulties. We believe that you and your family will take solace in the fact that your wife, Her Excellency Pastor Mrs Patience Umo Eno lived a fulfilled life in Jesus Christ and in the service to humanity.

“Her Excellency Pastor Mrs Patience Umo was an icon of hope, inspiration and support not just to your family but to all those who came in contact with her during her lifetime. It is true that her demise has left a vacuum too large and difficult to fill in your life, family and in our dear state.

“Your Excellency, we wish to encourage you and your family to be comforted that your beloved wife led an exemplary life and her legacies of dedication, hard work and sincerity shall continue to be remembered and celebrated by the many lives she touched”.

“We at Akwa United Football Club pray to God to grant you and your wonderful family the grace, the fortitude and the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.” The letter further explained.
