Governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong, former Governor of the state Joshua Chibi Dariye, Secretary to the State Government and other members of the state Executive Council including the Caretaker Committee Chairperson of Jos North Local Government, Mrs. Theriza Azi has visited the resident of late Sheikh Alhassan Saeed and all described him as a pillar in the affairs of the state.
According to the state governor, all those who died so far from the state are those who contributed to the success of the government under APC administration.
He said that his is the time that they should all benefit but regretted that such individuals are now passing away due to inevitable death circumstances.
The governor described the deceased as a great loss not only to the people of Jos North Community, the state but the entire nation because of his valuable contributions in different spheres of the society.
He revealed that if not for the role of people like Sheikh Alhassan Saeed, the APC government in the country and particularly the state wouldn’t have been possible.
On her part, the caretaker committee person of Jos North, Azi explained that the people of the area and indeed both Muslim and Christians in the state have lost an adviser who is committee in ensuring re-unification after the series of ethno-religous crises that bedeviled Plateau State in the recent past.
