Laos State government has shut down two slaughter slabs and ordered stoppage of slaughtering activities in three others.
The measures were taken to curb the spread of unwholesome processed meat and meat products in the state.
The illegal and unlicensed facilities affected in the clamp down were located in Oke-afa and Ejigbo, both in Oshodi/Isolo Local Government Area.
