The Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic (IMAP) Lafia has elected five Representatives to it’s Governing Council.
The elections which was presided over by the Rector, Dr. Justina Anjide-Kotso held on Wednesday at the Lecture Hall School of Environmental Science.
Elected from the academic board were Dr. Ibrahim Dauda and Mr. Obed Kpadji.
From the congregation were Shema’u Abdullahi Ari, Abdullahi Abubakar Okowa and Mallam Mukhtar Suleiman Wakeel.
Speaking shortly after the exercise, Dr. Anjide-Kotso lauded the school community for the peaceful and orderly conduct of the elections.
The Rector charged the representatives to live above board and put the interest of the Polytechnic at heart in the discharge of their duties.
Speaking on behalf of the Representatives, Mallam Wakeel assured the Polytechnic of a robust, peaceful and orderly representation that would fast track development, staff welfare and uplift educational standard of the state owned institution.
