This was contained in a  statement signed by the Secretary to Kogi State Government, Dr. Ayoade Arike Folashade on Monday.

They include, Jibrin Momoh,   former  Accountant General,

Pharmacist Jamiu Abdulkarim Asuku,  former Chief of Staff to the Governor and Yakubu Okala,  former  Auditor-General.

Others include, Idris Asiwaju Asiru,  former Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning and Barrister Momodu Ozigi Deedat,  former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

The caveat however, is that the  reinstatement of the Auditor-General and the commissioners is subject to the scrutiny and confirmation of the House of Assembly before they can resume their duties.

Their reinstatement followed  carefully consideration and approval by  Governor Yahaya Bello after they had submitted their letters of resignation.

“We trust that the reinstatement of these officials will further enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the state government in delivering its mandate to the people of Kogi State” the statement said.
