Katsina State Police Command has announced the appointment of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu as its new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).
The appointment of ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu according to a statement from the Police command, follows the elevation and redeployment of its former Public Relations Officer, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Gambo Isah to head the Zone 14 Public Relations Office (ZPRO), Katsina effective immediately.
The statement said until his posting as Katsina state Police Command PPRO, ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu was the Deputy Public Relations Officer of the command.
The statement explained that, ASP Sadiq Aliyu in his new role as the new PPRO of the Katsina State Police Command would be responsible for managing the command’s public image and reputation, as well as developing and implementing communication strategies to enhance the command’s relationship with members of the public.
ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu is a graduate and member of the first Regular Course One (RC1) of the prestigious Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil in Kano State and hails from Kaduna State.
The statement appealed to public to give ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu maximum cooperation and support to carry out his duties effectively.
