Katsina PDP Elects Delegates For Presidential Primaries

 People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bakori, Funtua and Faskari local government areas have elected national delegates who will represent the areas at the presidential primaries of the party.     


 New Nigerian gathered that in Bakori Local Government Area Alhaji Yahaya Dan-uwa stepped down for Alhaji Yahaya who emerged as the national delegate unopposed. 


The election was supervised by the national officials of the party, security agents and other stakeholders.                                         
Bakori Local Government Area chairman of the party, Alhaji Abubakar Tsoho said the election was hitch free.  


 In Faskari Local Government Area, Alhaji Kabir Maiwada Daudawa former chairman of the party in Katsina State during President Umaru Musa Yar’adu’s era  was elected as    national delegate unopposed.

 The party chairman in the area, Alhaji Sa’idu Musa Daudawa said the election was witnessed by members of the party and other stakeholders. 

 Whereas in  Funtua Local Government Area, the national delegate election was successful with Barrister Lawal Ama emerging  winner, following the stepping down of his opponent.             

                         

   The party chairman in Funtua       Local Government Area, Alhaji Bature Maiwake praised the party members for the successful conduct of the delegate election.                              

 Alhaji Bature Maiwake advised members of the party to be more united ahead of 2023  general elections.
