Katsina intending Pilgrims advised to seek knowledge of Hajj rites

Intending pilgrims from Musawa Local Government area of Katsina State have been charged to seek more knowledge on how to perform acceptable hajj while in the Holy Land.
Head of the Local Government Administration, Alhaji Mukhtar Aminu Bakori made the call when he declared open a special orientation exercise for this year’s intending pilgrims in the area.
He spoke through the Director of Education and Social Services and urged the intending pilgrims to always join the team of learned scholars who offer good guidance.
He also urged them to be good ambassadors of the area while in the holy land and pray for peace and unity of the country.
The Desk officer of the Local Government, Malam Tanimu Garba appealed to the intending pilgrims to abide by all regulation from Nigeria to the Holy Land.
He reiterated that all the pilgrims must have up to seventy percent attendance at the training and warned that Saudi authorities has emphasized prohibition of going with kola nuts and punitive measures awaits violators of regulations.
The Desk officer reminded them that who ever failed to join his allocated plane would not join any other pilgrims to the Holy Land.
The Sarkin Musawa of Katsina and District head of Musawa, Alhaji Muhammadu Gidado Usman represented by Alhaji Kabir Hussaini Tuge, Sarkin Ziri enjoined the intending pilgrims not to do any act that could tarnish the image of the country.
