*Rejects outcome

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina State has rejected the Governorship and state Assembly elections conducted at the weekend.
The PDP described the elections as money endorsement, intimidation, harassment and blackmail aimed at destroying democracy.
The Party made its stand on the elections at a jointly organized Press Conference in Katsina metropolis, by its Gubernatorial candidate, Senator Garba Yakubu Lado Danmarke, Chairman Campaign Council, Senator Umar Tsauri, Director General Atiku and Lado campaign council, Dr Mustapha Mohammed Inuwa and the state Chairman of the Party, Alhaji Lawal magaji Danbachi.
They assured of challenging the “unacceptable elections” results before Court of law for Justice.
” There was poor turn out in the state and civil servants were forced to work for APC while the government directed all the local government councils chairmen in the state to ensure that APC wins elections no matter what, ” Director General of Atiku and Lado campaign council, Dr Mustapha Mohammed Inuwa emphasized.
The elections according to Dr Mohammed Inuwa was done to destroy democracy and it would encourage the PDP to continue with the struggle and wax stronger.
Senator Garba Yakubu Lado Danmarke who described the elections as a disgrace and disappointing, thanked the Campaign Council and the party’s supporters in the state for their advise and support, assuring to continue working for PDP until it succeeds.
