Katsina Gov Hails Appointment Of Akume, Gbajiabimila

Appointments of Senator George Akume and Femi Gbajabiamila as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and Chief of Staff (CoS)  by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is well deserved and appropriate, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has said.  

Congratulating the two appointees in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Governor Umaru  Radda said the appointments are  considered  throughout the country as a “round peg in a round hole” given their wealth of experience and service to the nation over the years.

 Speaking on Chief of Staff, Right Honourable, Femi Gbajabiamila,  

Governor Dikko Radda  assured that his deep  legislative knowledge and robust administrative experience would ensure  the smooth running of the Office of the President and support the government to provide the required leadership for the development and progress of the country.

“Be rest assured that our prayers and support are always with you as you take on the responsibilities of this high office,” Governor Radda emphasized.

The statement  further disclosed in a similar message to Senator George Akume, the newly appointed Secretary to the Federal Government, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda expressed confidence that the new SGF would deliver considering his wealth of experience at both the state and federal levels.  

 “This is a huge accomplishment and one that we are very proud of Your hard work and dogged determination to get things done right are hallmark of your character over the years,” Governor Radda noted. 

Accordingly, Mohammed Kaula said the Governor confidently assured that, Senator George Akume  as Secretary to the Government of the Federation would bring wealth of experience in discharging the responsibilities of his office.

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda prayed that, “We wish you the best and success in your efforts to set in motion the machinery of government to improve the lives of all Nigerians.”
