Katsina Assembly Vows To Collaborate With Stakeholders To End Insecurity

Katsina State House of Assembly has assured continued collaboration with the relevant stakeholders towards improving security situation in the state.

The Speaker Tasi’u Musa Maigari stated this when the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone fourteen Edward Chukuka paid a familiarization visit to the House.

The Speaker said as the representatives of people, the lawmakers have the responsibilities of ensuring security through legislative process.

He said the lawmakers are receiving reports regarding insecurity from their various constituencies on daily basis.

Tasi’u Musa Maigari said the House is ready to work with the security operatives to secure the State.

 Earlier, the AIG Edward Chukuka said the visit was to sought for collaboration between police and the lawmakers towards addressing insecurity in the State.

He said as the general elections is fast approaching there was need for more co-operation for the attainment of hitch free elections.
