Katsina State House of Assembly has prevailed on the executive to rehabilitate Unguwar Balarabe and Unguwar Nuhu primary schools in Danja Local Government.
This was sequel to the adoption of a motion filed by member representing Danja Constituency, Alhaji Shamsuddeen Abubakar who also sought for the construction of primary school in Unguwar Jatau community.
The Speaker, Alhaji Tasi’u Musa Maigari who presided over the plenary, announced the resolution after deliberation on the motion.
Alhaji Tasi’u Maigari directed the clerk of the House to forward the resolution to the executive arm for further necessary action.
Defending the motion, the lawmaker said the motion was a reminder to his first motion as a lawmaker at the House.
Alhaji Shamsuddeen Abubakar said the Unguwar Balarabe and Unguwar Nuhu primary schools were in deplorable condition while the Unguwar Jatau community had never have a school building in the area.
He solicited the support of other lawmakers for the development of education in the area and the State at large.
