The management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has brought out excellent strategy of bills collections by community engagement at transformer installations to ensure effective payment at both rural and urban settlements.
A press statement signed by the company’s head of corporate communications, Malam Ibrahim Sani Shawai and issued to our correspondent in Kano, said that KEDCO is now becoming customer friendly in the area of people’s participation in the collections of bills in order to ensure constant and uninterrupted power supply in Kano, Katsina and Jigawa states.
The statement further disclosed that the objectives of the community engagement is to boost bills collections and ensure that customers adopt regular payments of their bills especially at present when the company is working selflessly towards the economic progress of the people through constant power supply.
In conclusion, Kano Electricity Distribution Company enjoined the consumers from Kano, Jigawa and katsina states to pay their bills for effective and constant power supply especially now that the company is working seriously to make electricity available.
