The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Architect Barnabas Bala Bantex on Wednesday said that the state government will continue to set a standard and remain a leading competitor among the states in the country.
Architect Bantex stated this when the delegation from Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), came on a courtesy visit to Government House, in Kaduna.
Bantex noted that some Nigerians living outside the country are taking particular interest and their attention has been drawn towards what the state government is doing..
Architect Bantex requested that the flag of Kaduna State to flies in Netherlands, while he thanked them for their gestures to the state.
Adding that, he believes their good results of activities as the agency which is also quick response to emergency is noted.
He prayed for them to continue the way they started so that they will continue to remain in the position they are.
In a remark, the leader of the delegation, the Executive Secretary Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency, (SEMA), Honourable Ben S.D Kure said they were in the government house to make a presentation to his Excellency for the good work he is doing and to capture the minds of some people in the country.
Honourable Kure said, Mr Patrick a friend to SEMA, based in Netherlands, is a good follower of Kaduna State.
“He followed the flood incidents that took place in some parts of the country through the social media.
“Patrick sympathized with flood victims in the state, by sending items as part of his gesture to contributing his quota to the affected victims,” he said.
He explained that he decided to donate some medical items to the nursing mothers, including first aid boxes that would be placed in schools, and some traffic gadgets that will be used when vehicles break down to prevent any unfortunate incident of accident or disaster that may occur.
As an agency, he said they have come to give the state governor a feedback and make a presentation to him as they will now go and distribute the items to the users.
