The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Kaduna State Chapter has moved to seek God’s intervention for free, fair and creditable general elections.

In an event tagged, “Oh land, hear the word of the Lord”,  which took place on Wednesday in Kaduna attracting ministers across the state, PFN  made a peaceful declaration for a hitch-free forthcoming elections in the country.

The State Chairman of the Organisation, Apostle Emmanuel Bako Egoh, explained that the 2023 general elections is very important to them as watch men in the land, saying that their coming together  seeks God’s divine intervention against anything that will lead to loss of lives and destruction of valuables.

According to him, “We’re here for the church to step-in because the country is at a cross road in making major decisions that will affect the destiny and the future of the nation.”

He explained that the general elections and the census coming up this year are two critical assignments that are taking place, stressing that they require Nigerians to fully participate in order to get it right for the development of the country.

The country, according to him, must get it right this time around by voting credible people with the fear of God that will heal the land for Nigerians to move forward in all spheres of life.

He called on the elders of the church to step in and speak over the land so that the will of God will prevail over people, advising that  those with personal ambitions should not use other powers to play over the minds of the people.

He opined that the future of the country  is bleak, pointing out that it is the more reason why he brought elders of the church from across the state to make a decree concerning the election for God’s intervention.

He said that the country must have the correct data in terms of learning and government execution of projects, making this year’s census crucial.

He lamented that over the years, figures were over bloated in some areas, while others are very low and the people could not get their own benefit from the federal level.

He reiterated that National Population Commission (NPC) must get the population of every region right in order to know the areas that require government intervention and for a correct thing be done for the overall development of Nigeria.
