A group, known as  New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Frontiers has called for urgent action to end the internal squabbles in the party, saying the 2023 governorship candidate of the party, Suleiman Hunkuyi should be blamed for failing to provide selfless and effective leadership in Kaduna State.

Spokesman of the group, Musa Yaro cautioned that failure to manage the protracted crisis within Kaduna NNPP, an opposition party, would stand no chance of making a good outing in the next general election.

Yaro slammed Hunkuyi for what he described as unpatriotic conduct exhibited by the party’s guber flag bearer whom he charged to retrace his steps and show sincere commitment to NNPP’s cause in Kaduna State.

” The party’s fast growing profile and early success rooted in high membership drive  across Kaduna are already giving some people insomnia and are therefore bent on destroying us through fifth columnists.

” We must not allow them to achieve their aim by causing unnecessary frictions within our folds that may affect our chances in the next General Election.

” It is high time We called a spade by its name and took charge of our affairs so our party can remain strong, relevant and a force to be reckoned with before, during and even after the 2023 general election.

” We call on the national leadership of our party and important Stakeholders to wade in and ensure the crisis is managed before it gets out of hand.

” We believe if it’s not solved now our party’s chances ahead 2023 could be in jeopardy,” he said.
