Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna state, on Tuesday chaired a meeting on the proposed legacy Kaduna Light Rail Mass Transit Project, assuring that it will do increase the economic fortunes of the state when completed.
The 44.8KM project will connect Maraban Jos – Maraban Rido, of the 44.8KM stretch, 10KM of the route will be on the ground while 34KM will be elevated.
The Kaduna light rail project once completed will tremendously increase economic growth and prosperity in the state, help relieve traffic congestion, and provide a safer and more comfortable transport system in the state.
