Kaduna: KASTELEA will work with other security agents harmoniously

Newly established Kaduna State Traffic Law and Environmental Law Enforcement Agency (KASTEALEA), General Manager, Colonel Abdulkadir Z. Ahmed (rtd) has said there will be no clash of functions between his agency and other security agencies in the state.
The General Manager assured such agencies like the Police, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) operating in the state of total support and cooperation from his personnel.
According to him, all arrangements have been completed for the newly recruited personnels of the agency to be posted to areas of duties at the end of this month.
“We intend to start full operation at the end of this month.  Our agency’s mission is to ensure environmental safety for the public and we are only going to do our job without any clash of duties with other agencies. We can assure them that there would be no clash of duties or functions.
“We don’t intend to work in isolation but as partners with other agencies such as Police, Civil Defence, FRSC and the media so as to achieve our goal of making Kaduna State a model not only in the country but internationally,” he said.
On the appointment letters, The GM explained that the recruited staff will also be issued with their appointment letters as soon as they commence work.
 
“We have the letters ready since May 1st but we cannot issue it to them without them knowing where to go and work. We are organizing the whole thing in such a way that we will distribute it to them in an organize manners,” he said.
He also urged residents to cooperate and be law abiding especially on the road.
