Kaduna Health Agency lauds KDSG over MoU with International Organisations

The Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Primary Health Care Development Agency (SPHCDA), Dr. Hadiza S. Balarabe has commended Governor Nasir el-Rufai for signing amemorandum of Understanding (MOU) with United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID), Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to improve Health Care in the State.
Dr. Balarabe said the MOU will greatly help towards improving Primary Health Care services, especially for rural and underserved populations.
She explained that “a recent assessment in the state led to a new reform agenda, the new partnership will supports this agenda by working to address all the challenges”.
The Executive Secretary said her agency is committed and will continue to work harder to achieve the desired objective.
She then announced that the Immunization Plus Days to deliver potent vaccine for children 0 – 5 years will commence on 17th – 20th September, 2016 and appealed to the parents to give all the needed support and cooperation through allowing their kids to be immunized.
Dr. Balarabe also appealed to the traditional rulers and Religions Leaders to as usual, educate their followers on the importance of the polio immunization in particular and health issue in general.
