Kaduna: Foundation Donates N3.8m Learning Materials To 10 Schools

Near Foundation, a Non Governmental Organisation in collaboration with Bright Future Jamb & SSCE Training Center Kaduna has distributed writing materials,  Qur’an,  clothing and other relief packages during its maiden annual educational outreach.The Chairman Bright future Jamb & SSCE,

Muhammad Umar Danfulani who made this known in a statement issued to newsmen,  said  they are  Supporting Education Through Charity at NTIC Nursery and Primary School Unguwar Rimi, Kaduna.
He said the items were distributed to 10 different schools which comprises secondary,  Islamic and orphanage, with each receiving 1,577 text books, 645 notebooks, 448 library books, 157 Qur’ans,  188 bedsheets, 154 sweaters,  shirts for both male and female,  pens and pencils and many other support learning materials.
According to him, the outreach is an additional effort from the organisation among the  many commemorative activities done during the year that included award of scholarship to more than 500 students,  distribution of Ramadan packages and slaughtering of many cows for the less privileged during the festive period.
The Chairman Bright future Jamb & SSCE, also awarded  free JAMB application forms to 10 students sitting for the 2022 examination, while explaining the motive behind the establishment of Bright Future JAMB & SSCE Training Center Kaduna.
“The number of massive failure recorded during last year JAMB and WAEC is what has actually made us to create a private center that can equips and prepares students against the challenges of both internal and external examinations as well as securing admission in the institutions of their choice.
He further stated that the training center recorded 70 per cent success in 2021 and will continue to support the educational system of Kaduna State.
In his remarks, Mal. Tukur Mamu, the Chairman/Publisher of Desert Herald Magazine who was the father of the day, tasked the general public on the need for society to support, meet and establish the building blocks that allow people  and communities to enhance and sustain the quality of their lives, and create the conditions for all individuals to reach their full potentials.
In her remarks, Barrister Aisha Ahmad Muhammad Esq,  the founder of Sarauniya Girl Child Care Foundation, demonstrated commitment towards the activities of the foundation and promised to support initiatives that will bring development to the society.
Mr. Yusuf Zangina,  the host during the outreach, also advised on the importance of educational support services.

He encouraged people to put more efforts in extending education opportunities to hardest-to-reach children and adults
Some of the personalities that attended  the Outreach include: Alhaji Muhmoud Yusuf, the Head of Fight Against Illiteracy of Zazzau,  Mr İbrahim Kiliç, the Director of Near Foundation, Kaduna State, amongst others, who all demonstrated their support and appreciation over the activities of Near Foundation.
