Kaduna Eyes increased School Enrolment – Dep Gov

*Says education key to competing globally

The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State Dr. Hadiza Balarabe reiterated the commitment of the state that no one can compete well in this globalised world without education.

She expressed this when she received in audience the Country Director of Save the Children International, Mr. Duncan Harvey, in her office at the weekend.

The Deputy Governor further stated that Kaduna State looks beyond taking children to school, to increased school enrollment and better completion rates.

She said, the Human Capital Development programme of Kaduna State is on course and government is doing all in its power to build a solid foundation in the area.

She expressed the pleasure of the state government in continued collaboration with partners like Save the Children.

Earlier, the Country Director of Save the Children, told the Deputy Governor that he was in her office to intimate her of the activities of the organization in the state.
