Ahead of the opening ceremony of the 2021 National Youth Games (NYG), the Director of Sports Kaduna State, Alhaji Yakubu Ibrahim has paid an unscheduled visit to monitor warm up training of the state’s athletics team.
During the visit to the training venue, he charged the athletics team to remain focused and discipline as athletics events start on Sunday.
The Director promised that the ministry will do everything possible to cater for the welfare of the athletes and coaches.
He assigned a bus to the athletics team for easy mobility to enhance their training.
A standby medical team was also mandated to always be with the team during training.
