Kaduna Central Zone Senatorial Aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Usman Bawa (ABG) has reeled out his campaign pledges to include empowering the youths and women whom he said were the most vulnerable of all people particularly in the hard times currently being experienced across the country.
He made the pledge during the official ceremony to receive decampees at Kaduna Trade Fair Complex along Zaria Road and urged all party members and electorate in the state to get their permanent voter cards to vote out APC .
Hon. Bawa said he would establish Youths and Women Vocational Centres across the Senatorial Zone when elected.
These centres according to Hon. ABG who was one time House of Representatives Member and currently the Special Adviser to Speaker Dogara on Special Duties, would check mate growing poverty among Youths and Women whom he believed if properly taken care of the society would be free of joblessness related crimes such as kidnapping, prostitution and armed robbery.
Some of the actions plans the aspirant reeled out include; awarding scholarship to the less privileged, establishment of primary health care centres across Kaduna Central Zone, establishing constituency offices for continuous interaction within his zone among others.
“I believe power comes from God. Politics is not a desperate game of do or die, which is a vice that must be eschewed by all political players to have a lasting participatory democracy in our dear country”, he added.
Top dignitaries spotted at the formal reception were Kaduna North Senatorial District (Zone I) , Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi, Senator Danjuma La’ah (representing) Kaduna South, former Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, Kaduna State PDP Chairman, Honourable Felix Hassan Hyet.
Also spotted at the venue, Malam Sani Bello (Mainan Zazzau), former Commissioner of Youth and Sports Kaduna State, Honourable Abdulazeez Mohammed and other PDP Chieftains.
