Kaduna APGA execo disolved, caretaker committee Chair to be appointed

Kaduna State chapter of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), has passed a vote of no confidence on Alhaji Hassan Rahama-led state executive members of the party and thereby disolved the EXCO from exercising any state functions of the party.
In its place, Mr. Yakubu Mato was appointed the Secretary of the caretaker committeen and all chairmen of the party in the 23 local government areas were inugurated by Mr. Polycarp Danladi Gankon, a board member of the party as executive members of the state, explaining that a chairman of the caretaker committee would soon be appointed.
Before disolving the former state officials of the party in a meeting held in Kaduna weekend, most of the party chairmen from the various local governments accused the former officials of not carrying the party members in the state along in all activities that has to do with the progress and unity of the party.
The former executive members according to the chairmen, failed to fully participate in the campaign of last year general elections in the state thereby failing in their responsibilities as party officials to lead the party to success in the state, among other important issues raised against the former executive.
After all deliberations, Mr. Saad Koma Jacob, party chairman of Kajuru local government moved motion for a vote of no confidence against the former executive while Alhaji Ahmadu Nasamu seconded the motion with no objection from anyone.
The state legal adviser of the party, Barrister Henry Obimba thereby disolved the state executive and noted that there was the need for a caretaker committee to be set up to pilot the affairs of the party in the state.
He warned the membrrs of the party in the state not to allow the former executive to represent the party in anything and stressed that anybody found having any dealing with any of the former executive members would be considered doing anti-party activities and thereby punished according to the party constitution.
The party Local Government Chairmen were inugurated by Mr Gankon as state exco of the party to work for six months pending when a new state executive members would be elected.
