Kaduna Polytechnic has said all is set to mark the institutions’ Diamond Jubilee slated for 23rd July, 2016 in grand style.
A statement signed by the Rector of the institution, Dr. Mohammed Bello Ibrahim, on-behalf of the Management, Staff and Students of the Polytechnic, said the ceremony will be combined with it 32nd convocation.
Activities lined up to mark Kadpoly@60 include a pre-convocation lecture on 22nd July, at the Civil Engineering Department Lecture Theatre Hall, College of Engineering, Main Campus, Tudun Wada, Kaduna State.
Other activities includes Football match between Academic and Non-Academic staff of the Institution on 21st July at the Sports Complex, Main Campus, Tudun Wada. Award & Dinner Night on Friday, 22 July at Reas Hall, College of Business & Management Studies (CBMS), along Golf Course Road, Ungwar Rimi, Kaduna.
Peak of the event is the Grand Finale on 23rd July at the Convocation Square, Main Campus, Tudun Wada, Kaduna.
However, graduands between the set of 2004 – 2015 academic sessions were invited to the 32 combined Convocation and Diamond Jubilee ceremonies of the Polytechnic and expected to pay N500.00 for academic gowns to be worn on the occasion.
