The Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Authority (KADCHMA) is partnering with Media Stakeholders in the state to create awareness for health delivery service.
Director General of the scheme, Mr. Hassan Abubakar who addressed the stakeholders on Thursday in Zaria at the opening of a Media Round Table, reiterated the role of the media in delivering quality Healthcare services to the nooks and crannies of the state.
He maintained that the vision of KADCHMA is to make equitable Health care services to all Residents at affordable rates and reduce out of pocket spending on Health care to the barest minimum.
Abubakar who prayed for the adopted victims of Kaduna train, commended the oarticipants for attending the Media Round Table. Also speaking, the Treasurer of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kaduna State Council, Comrade Nicholas Dekera hailed KADCHMA for the vision and core values of the organisation which are all aimed at effective Health Delivery.
Dekera while assuring of media support to get all members on board, revealed that the council has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on training and retraining of Kaduna Journalists on key aspects of the practice which Will in the end help the media in demystifying the vision of KADCHMA to the ruralite and ensuring effective Participation in the Health scheme
