The Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA), organizers of the Kaduna International Trade Fair, “Africa’s most famous fair, has concluded plans to host the second edition of its Education Fair.
A statement signed by KADCCIMA Director General, Usman G. Saulawa, PhD, made available to our correspondent on Saturday October 29, said that the fair is being planned to take place from November 8 to 12, 2022 at the Conference Hall, Kaduna International Trade and Investment Centre, KM4, Kaduna-Zaria Road, R/Chikun, Kaduna at 10am.
It said that the Education Fair is being supported by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and National Teachers Institute (NTI), among others.
“The objectives of the Fair is to provide an up to date information regarding world-class education opportunities under one roof where students and parents can interact directly with education providers.
“It will also afford interactive sessions with national educational authorities, education stakeholders and networking opportunities between participating schools, parents and guardians among others,” the statement said.
It informed that the Honourable Minister of Education, Mal. Adamu Adamu is expected to declare the Fair open as Special Guest of Honour on Wednesday November 8, 2022.
“The Fair which has Result Oriented Approach to Education for
National Development as its theme is expected to attract educationists,
teachers, book publishers, parents, students, pupils and general public
to come together, share and exchange ideas on the way forward for the development of Education in Nigeria.
“During the 3-day event, there will be exhibition of books and other
educational materials alongside paper presentations from season
educationists, policy makers, administrators, professionals and publishers,” the statement said.
It added that the fair will offer a rare opportunity to expose amazing and fantastic Nigeria handmade toys, textbooks and other educational products to greater market.
