Ms. Joy Akut has been appointed as Vice-Chair of the Interim Management Committee of Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
A government statement said that Joy Akut steps into this role from her previous position as a Special Adviser (Women and Youth Affairs) to Dr. Bege Katuka, the chairman of the Interim Management Committee of Kaura Local Government Council.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Samuel Aruwan said in a signed statement that, Joy Akut studied Political Science and is a longstanding member of the APC.
She has been outstanding in her commitment to the party, and is recognized for her hard work.
She has been active in the APC’s two successful general election campaigns in Kaduna State.
Joy worked in the Women’s Directorate during the 2015 campaign and most recently served on the APC Kaduna State 2019 Campaign Council.
