The Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Shehu Bala Usman has said that his administration is committed to maintaining the existing relationship between him and the staff of the council, despite some of the challenges in governance.
The Chairman was speaking at the maiden meeting with staff of the Council at the Local Government Chamber in Jos after his return as Executive Chairman from the election.
He vowed to create and sustain a friendly working environment that will lead to increased productivity and consequently, development of the area.
Shehu Bala Usman noted the readiness of his administration to carry workers along on all issues affecting their welfare adding that he was confident that in return, the Council workers would give his administration the desired cooperation and understanding so that together Jos North can be taken to the next level.
Usman further assured the staff of his plans in consultation with the tripartite Unions to clear staff repatriation and other outstandings as soon as funds are made available to enhance service delivery.
The Director of Personnel Management, Asabe James assured the Jos North Chairman of the cooperation of staff to enable him succeed in his quest of bringing development closer to the people.
