Jaiz CDF Expends Over N400m on Aids in Two years – CEO

Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation has spent over four hundred million naira (N4ooM) as aids to various bodies across the nation in the last two years, the Director General and Chief Executive Officer Ambassador Babangida Adamu Ibrahim has said.
He revealed this weekend in Kaduna while donating a fully fitted medical ambulance to Jama’atul Nasir Islam (JNI) Muslim Hospital, Kaltungo Road, Tudun Wada Kaduna.
He also asserted that over twenty million naira (N20M) was spent on the ambulance to fit it with state of the art equipment making it an hospital on wheel.
While admonishing that the ambulance be utilized with care and judiciously, he assured of further assistance to the hospital from the foundation. He said Alhaji Uamaru Mutallab, Chairman of Jaiz had loved to be there in person to present the ambulance and see the state of the hospital, but couldn’t due to tight schedule. He assured that Mutallab promised to be there in person someday soon to see things for himself.
Speaking on behalf of JNI, Hajiya Aisha Abdulkadir among other stakeholders at the event applauded Jaiz Charity and Development Foundation for the help which she said is to the entire Muslim Ummah and not just the Muslim hospital alone.
“We had faced the challenges of moving patients down or to other hospitals for referral. This donation has solved that problem” she stressed.
She however requested for the completion of structures within the hospital and acquiring of neighbouring buildings to expand the hospital as the current facilities are overstretched considering the number of patients who patronize the hospital.
At present, the hospital lacks facilities for admitting patience. Often patience are admitted and left in open buildings. Vital equipment such as Ultrasound and X-ray machines are also needed she pleaded.
The Foundation had earlier, same day, presented numbers of sewing, weaving, Cooking Machines to an NGO that adopts orphans, less privilege children, train and educate them within their school premises in Kaduna.
