Industrial Training Fund (ITF) has trained one hundred youth in catering and event management, plumbing and pipe fittings in Kaduna state.
The Director General of the fund, Sir Joseph Ari stated this during the graduation ceremony of the last National Industrial Skills Development Programme held at Arewa House Kaduna.
He explained that the training lasted for three months and each of the graduands would go home with start-up parks in order to become self-reliant.
In his welcome address, the Area Manager Industrial Training Fund Kaduna Area Office, Engineer Usman Ibrahim Gano explained that over one thousand youth were empowered with entrepreneurship skills and start up packs in Kaduna State.
He appealed to the graduands to utilise positively their skills and the start to contribute their quota to the development of the state and the country in general.
