Itas/Gadau people thumps-up BASG


People in Itas/Gadau Local Government Area of Bauchi state have thumped-up for the APC administration in the state for the provision of social amenities to the area within the past one year of Governor Mohammed Abubakar’s stewardship.
The Caretaker Chairman of the Local Government Council, Idris Saeed made the commendation on behalf of the people Wednesday while receiving the Democratic Enlightenment Initiative (DEI) led by the chairman, Aliyu Ibrahim during its awareness drive to the area.
Saeed told the organization that the administration of Governor Mohammed Abubakar has executed a number of projects in the area which include assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs) taking refuge in the area.
Other projects executed by the government, chairman enumerated, are the employment of teachers through the State Teachers Service  Commission (TSC), construction of primary healthcare centre at Gyara village and distribution of educational books to primary schools pupils in the area.
DEI chairman, Aliyu Ibrahim has while responding hailed the state government for the provision of democracy dividends to the Itas/Gadau people, called on the entire of the area to continue offering prayers for the success of the present administration in the state.
Alhaji Idris Saeed further revealed that the state government has also constructed Solar boreholes at Masheha and  Gambara villages, as well as the reactivation of electricity supply system at Walai, Gijina, Gwarai, Dagashi, Fango and Diga Nasarawa villages in the area.
