Soldiers from the 3 Battalion Nigerian Army Barracks, Effurun, near Warri in Uvwie LGA of Delta State have arrested no fewer than 100 youth suspected to be Internet fraudsters operating at the popular Army Estate.
It was reliably gathered that the soldiers stormed one HK “Hustle Kingdom” School, after due intelligence on the cybercrime training network school where intending Internet fraudsters are allegedly trained within the residential Post Service Housing Estate for retired military officers and influential and wealthy civilians.
According to sources, the suspects were rounded up following intelligence reports on the discovery of the HK (Yahoo training) School within the premises of the Army Estate just as the military authorities have reportedly handed over the suspects together with the proprietor and his accomplices to the police at Ekpan police station for proper profiling and prosecution.
The State Police Public Relations Officer SP Bright Edafe confirmed the arrest of the suspects but gave no further details.
