Insecurity: 1 Div Nigerian Army Introduces Emergency Toll-Free Line

Given the emerging security challenges in the some parts of the Country, 1 Division Nigerian Army, Kaduna has introduced a Toll-Free Line to the general public for reporting security related challenges.

The 1 Division Of Nigerian Army with Headquarter in Kaduna, covers  Kaduna, Niger, Kano and Jigawa States and the   Toll-Free Line/number 08000020204  is also to enable the general public report emergency cases and lodge complaints with the Division for quick response.

 A statement signed by Lieutenant Colonel Musa- Yahaya, Deputy Director, Army Public Relations l Division of Nigerian Army said  that it will  enable the general public report emergency cases and lodge complaints with the Division for quick response.

” It is also to assist the general public to send timely information on the activities of terrorists, insurgents, violent extremists, bandits and their collaborators as well as other issues of security concern that would assist the Division and other security agencies in protecting lives and properties within the Division’s Area of Responsibility”.  It added.

 The statement  advised the general public to dial the Toll-Free Line and follow the interactive voice prompt to report emergencies or lodge complaints, ” Kindly note that all calls and messages received on the Toll-Free Line are free and will be treated with utmost confidentiality while sources will be given adequate protection”.

“Security  issues are multi dimensional and security agencies can only perform effectively, “so  kindly requested to disseminate this information to the general public through your highly reputable medium”. It added.
