A Corps member from Osun State serving in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State has taken it upon himself through the Community Development Service (CDS) under the National Youth Service Corps  (NYSC) to donate educational materials worth  over N600,000 to students of Bishop Demeri Government School.

The corps member  by name, Olufemi Ebenezer  with the state code BY/21B/0049 who hails from Ila Orangun in Osun State said it has always been his dream to encourage education in Nigeria in his little magnanimity.
According to him, education is at the verge of collapsing in Nigeria and as such, all hands must be on deck to encourage the sector.
The young philanthropist donated the following items to the school and students of the institution:
Distribution of 500 pieces of customized Biros to BDGS Students.
Donation of 30pcs Desks and Chairs to the school.
Distribution of 500 pieces of customized  Nose mask.
Distribution of 500 pieces of customized 40leaves exercise book.
Organized an interclass quiz competition for both junior and senior class.
Complete renovation of two (2) blocks of class rooms.

He then appreciated the NYSC Scheme for such platform where corps members can solicit for funds from his serving community in order to meet the needs of the community.
Olufemi Ebenezer also charged governments at all levels to brace up and encourage education in Nigeria, rather than corruption and bigotry, describing education as the best legacy.
He finally appreciated God almighty for granting him  the grace, and every individual God used to achieve this landmark project, and also thanked his immediate family for their unflinching support and prayers and  dedicated the success of the project to his late father, Pastor Samson Olufemi Adejengbe.
