A frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart  from Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, Alhaji Sa'ad Muktar Hayin Hago has called on Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to bring sanity to Kano APC especially at present when the issue of 2023 general elections is fast approaching.

He made the remarks in an interview with our correspondent in Kano, adding that All Progressives Congress (APC) is seriously in need of sanity because what is happening now should not be allowed to degenerate like what had happened in Zamfara State in the 2019 general elections.

Sa'ad Mukhtar lamented that, " Kano APC should be strengthened in order to win the forthcoming election because all those who are the big wigs in the party  are in need of amicable reconciliation with justice and his Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is the leader of the party in the state despites all the leadership tussles, therefore, we need stronger APC in Kano state".

Furthermore, Alhaji Hayin Hago called on all the party's stakeholders, leaders and elders to come up with the best option that would make the party one entity in Kano State to avoid what may cause its collapse.

He appealed to both sides to ensure that all is well within the party at all levels.

In conclusion, Sa'ad Muktar Hayin Hago canvassed support for the full implementation of autonomy to the local government councils in the state.

He advised Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to allow the local councils to use their full grants for only three months as litmus test and see how the system would restore the livelihood of the people of all categories.
