Renovation Of Ahamadu Na-Funtua Stadium To Be Completed Within First Quarter – Surveyor



First phase of the ongoing renovation works of Ahamadu Na-Funtua stadium in Katsina metropolis would be completed within the first quarter of this year.

The project was divided into two lots with the first being renovation of the pavilion wire fence, drainages, provision of water tank and hybrid synthetic grass for the football pitch.

An official overseeing the project    Quantity Surveyor   Abukasim Yusuf Sada applauded the current administration of Governor Aminu Bello Masari for according necessary attention to sports development.

He added that sports was now a universal language which afforded youths the opportunity to keep off from societal vices such as drug abuse and addiction.

 Quantity Surveyor Abukasim Yusuf Sada also acknowledged the commitment of the Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Alhaji Sani Aliyu Danlami  for his determination to move sports forward.

Meanwhile, the Management of Katsina United Football club has   appealed to the club’s supporters to continue conducting themselves in good manners to avoid unruly behaviors during the Club home matches.

  The Club Media Officer Malam Nasir Gide told Journalists said the Football loving Fans in the State should to desist from committing any act that may cause the team to face fine or sanctions from the League Management Company (LMC).

On the disciplinary actions taken by the LMC against Two NPFL teams for misconduct, he called for the need for the Club Supporters to always respect the rules governing the conduct of the League matches.

While assuring the teaming supporters of the Players commitment of continue doing their best for the Club to excel in the ongoing NPFL competition, Malam Nasir Gide disclosed that, the Management requested for more support and encouragement to enable the current Club Players to repose the confidence in them by the management.
