The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD) Kaduna State Chapter 2021 Medical and Surgery Outreach in
Speaking during the exercise at Model PHC Holo in Chikaji Ward, the ARD State President, Dr. Umar Musa said it is part of their 2021 Health Week activities.
He said they targeted 200 people with different issues as part of the gesture of Kaduna State doctors to serve their communities.
The president said the Association of Resident Doctors will continue to reach out to the needy anytime they have the capacity to do so.
He called on other public spirited individuals in the society and other similar associations to partner with them association in reaching out the less privileged in the society.
Activities conducted includes, malaria test and treatment, diabetes, hypertension and other ailments. O
ther engagement included HIV counselling and testing hepatitis B and C and screening
In his message, the Chairman Sabon Gari Local Government Area, Engr. Mohammed Usman expressed appreciations to the Association of Resident Doctors for choosing a community in his area to benefit from their gesture.
Represented by Hon. Yakubu Ibrahim, Supervisory Councillor of Health, he said his council will continue to support the association at any time and also they will partner with them.
Also speaking Alhaji Danlami Umar, Chairman Chikaji Ward Development Committee, commended members of the association for choosing their ward for free medical and surgery outreach.
One of the beneficiaries, Rabi’u Mahmoud of Sabuwar Unguwa, Zabi said, for a very long time, he eas waiting to see light of his life until when Association of Resident Doctors came to his rescue.
