Go Round FC head coach, Ngozi Elechi has said he is ready to rumble when the second tier Nigeria National League (NN), kicks off.
Elechi rejoined the team midway into the last league season and missed getting a play-off spot by a few points.
After the team resumed for the new season in Omoku, the coach has said he believes that with an early start, they could do things differently.
The team resumed for the new season on November 15, 2021 with an open screening session for one week, while returning players joined up from Sunday, November 20.
“We missed promotion by whiskers last season. I joined them after about seven games,” Elechi said.
“This season we have to start with good recruitment and nurture the players, then put them in shape to start well so we can be in the NPFL next season,” Elechi said.
Ngozi Elechi starts the season as head coach of the club while he will be assisted by Abiye Tamuno-Iyalla. Okey Eluozor will be 2nd assistant coach while Nnanna Campbell is fitness trainer.
