Yahaya Bello’s Presidential Posters Take Over Jigawa Streets

Presidential Campaign posters of  Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Governor of Kogi State have flooded Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.
The posters sighted on major streets and roundabouts in Dutse, are said to be the handiwork of a  group, Youths Vanguard for Bello’s Presidential bid under the banner of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was gathered that  volunteer youth groups took responsibility of posting such posters at strategic locations in Jigawa.
Apart from electric poles, almost all the streets, among other public buildings, were reportedly besieged by such posters of Bello’s presidential campaign.
The posters with inscriptions  like,  “I am out for national service just to transform Nigeria” were seen in front of some houses and business premises.
Jigawa APC Secretary, Muhammadu Guri, said, “Though we have not been communicated officially about this development, it is a welcome development, as we support all courageous and committed persons aspiring for the exalted political office.”
Also speaking, the Jigawa State APC Chairman, Alh. Aminu Sani said it was a welcome development as every card carrying member of the APC is at liberty to vie for any elective position under the party.
“Even though I haven’t been communicated officially, but nonetheless what transpired is all about politics, and that’s the beginning of a new era as far as 2023 general election is concerned.”
