A Mitsubishi truck on transit through Kaduna enroute to Sokoto veered off road and rammed onto perimeter fence of famous Queen Amina College staff Quarters along Kachia Road Kaduna.
An eye witness at the scene of the incident who simply identified himself as Rufus Madugu said the truck driver lost control of the vehicle as he negotiated a bend after Queen Amina’s main gate.
Rufus narrated further that it was by the whiskers the driver missed ramming the truck on a passerby who he said was fast to have sighted the meandering automobile and jumped off the way .
” The truck driver must be given credit also for his composure as he avoided hitting the man who was passing by .
” It would have been fatal , had the truck hit the man on full speed because the impact on the fence it collided with is major , ” Madugu said.
When our correspondent sought to speak with the driver , he was told by one of the men accompanying the truck that he had gone to the clinic for medical attention for minor injuries he sustained as a result of the accident.
As of the time of filing this report the truck loaded to the brim with bicycle and motorcycle parts was still lying at scene of the accident with its bottom up .
