Following the announcement of zoning the position of the National Chairman of APC to North Central, groups from across the country continue to visage the office of Senator Almakura to register their support for his aspiration.
One among various groups visited is the APC Coalition Support Group led by Mr. Michell Etimi in Abuja.
Addressing the delegation of the group, Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura who was overwhelmed with their visit promised to bring all his sectorial experiences to bear for more unity amongst party members.
Senator Almakura, noted that for the first time the party will experience transition, affirmed that legacies of President Muhammad Buhari can only be sustain if credible leaders are bestow with the party affairs.
The leading APC National Chairman’s Aspirant reiterated that if given the mandate he will partner with relevant party support groups to further strengthen relationship and improve internal democracy for the betterment of the party members.
Almakura charged the group to remain resolute and to gave all the necessary support the caretaker committee to enable them carryout a successful convention come 26, Feb, 2022.
Earlier, Mr. Michael Etimi who spoke on behalf of the group said they are yearning for good Governance in the party hence to pledge their loyalty to Almakura among the aspirants.
The group noted that the qualities of Almakura has triggered them to join his movement, saying his carateria has overshadow the all aspirants.
The event was climaxed with presentation of brooms as symbol of victory.
