Kaduna South Local Government Chairman Yahaya Ibrahim Shinko that was suspended by the State Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai from his office on Tuesday said he heard about it via social Media.
According to him,  the interdiction statement was already on social media, specifically facebook before he even received the letter officially.
The former interim Chairman who disclosed this via his facebook account said didn’t mentioned reason why he was relieved of his appointment by the governor.
He further explained that he will for now not say much in order not to preempt the outcome of the committee set aside by the governor to investigate his activities.
It could be recalled that the interim Chairman was asked to hand over mantle of leadership of the local government to his deputy with immediate effect. Two other staff of the Local government were also suspended.
Yahaya Shinko’s statement posted on his facebook wall read as follows: “My well wishers, the pretending class and even those filled of joy for the interjection that comes my way, I thank you all for the prayers or saying your minds, as the case may be and may God see all of us through to the time that the investigating committee will round up its findings on the issue.
“However, without prejudice to the respect that I have for the Governor and his good intentions for the state, I am assuring you that you will not be disappointed with the findings to be recorded.
“I will not start blowing my trumphet now in order not preempt what the finding of the committee will be, but before it (the committee) I will say things the way they are without any reservation, and will copy the world through the social media in order to adjudge on who exactly is compromising the application of the State Laws and responsibilities of his office, between the person alleged to be a culprit and the saints appointed to oversee the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, the Commissioner in charge of the Ministry for Local Government, among others.
“Yes, including on the facebook, because the interdiction was directed to be disseminated as a news item on this medium by the click that are behind it, right before my received of the letter that was subsequently served on me to that effect and without recourse to my reputation.
“If I will be given any opportunity to serve on same capacity or any other one, I will continue to refuse to submit to wishes or dictate of any person that is also enjoying privilege of appointment by the state governor, no matter how very high such a person is placed; so long as the wishes or dictates are in contravention of any of the Laws that I will take oath to defend.
“Mine will be in series with no time on sight as to when it will be stopped, until the truth sounded well for everyone to see and identify traders in disguise of officers holding appointment and real men that are committed to deliver as expected of them by the able and respected Governor that make these appointments in good fate and trust,” he said.
