Paramount Ruler Promises Restoration Of Peace In Zangon Kataf

The paramount ruler of Atyap Chiefdom in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Mr Dominic Gambo Yahaya, has assured that he will continue to explore all avenues to ensure the restoration of peaceful coexistence in his Chiefdom.
Speaking when Rev. John Joseph Hayab, Country Director, Global Peace Foundation Nigeria paid him a courtesy visit in his palace, the paramount ruler said, “I will continue to explore all avenues to ensure the restoration of peace in Atyap Chiefdom. 
“The Almighty is a God of peace and always want to see His children living in peace with one another. I strongly believed the Almighty will give the Chiefdom and the entire country.”
According to the paramount ruler, with the security challenges bedeviling parts of the country, he observed that enemies of progress are at work to cause confusion in the land but believes peace would be restored in Atyap Chiefdom very soon.
He thanked the Global Peace Foundation Nigeria for their efforts in ensuring the people of the Chiefdom and other parts of the country understand themselves and live in peace with one another.
The Country Director, Global Peace Foundation Nigeria, Rev. John Joseph Hayab told the paramount ruler that they would continue to sensitize, educate and make the people see the need to live in peace with one another for their overall development.
Rev. Hayab stated, “Our main task as an organisation is to preach peace irrespective of any different because human beings came from one creator and there is the need to live in peace in order to realise their full potentials. It is only when people live in peace that anything in life can be achieved.”
He added, “We should, therefore, relate well with one another with genuine intention in order to live in peace with one another for the realization of peaceful coexistence.”
Speaking at the Atyap Chiefdom’s palace on the programme, “Zangon Kataf exchange visit and prayer summit organized by Global Peace Foundation Nigeria”, he enjoined all to live in peace, saying that the only way to develop and move forward is to ensure peaceful coexistence among all.
At the Urban Zangon, Rev. Hayab enjoined all not to allow politicians to cause confusion in ensuring peaceful coexistence, saying that Nigerians should explore all avenues to embrace peace for the development of humanity.
He called on both Muslims and Christians to live in peace with one another, stressing that it is the only way people would move about to earn a living.
Liman Malam  Adamu Jibril, Rev. Daniel Kasai, Rev. Emmanuel Koyan and Malam Sufyannu Babangida led in Christian and Muslim prayers for peaceful coexistence in Atyap Chiefdom and other parts of the country.
Most of those who shared their views of the prayer summit, expressed confidence that very soon, peace would return to Atyap Chiefdom, believing that other parts of the state and Nigerians will live in peace with one another for the future survival of the country.
